The Test Automation Manager helps develop and drive the strategy for automated testing for all our cloud products, including providing the technical framework, and helping teams assess what should be automated for the best ROI.

You will lead a small team of engineers working to build and maintain the framework, as well as contributing technically yourself. Leading by example, you will provide technical guidance, support, and mentorship.

We are looking for someone who has experienced the value of test automation in a cloud software environment and is passionate about applying their knowledge and expertise to help teams ensure the delivery of high-quality medical software products.

If you are located in Canada, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of a cloud engineering-wide test automation strategy
  • Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and flexible test automation frameworks and data management methodologies to be leveraged by our cloud development teams
  • Propose best practices and tools that fit our technology stack and automated testing needs
  • Implement test automation frameworks with our CI/CD strategies and methods
  • Monitor, measure, and continuously improve the test automation strategy and frameworks
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of test automation framework engineers
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team
  • Generate and maintain documentation for test automation processes and frameworks
  • Work in collaboration with the various development teams to ensure their success in implementing the strategy for their product lines

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience leading and mentoring a team of test automation engineers or software engineers
  • 5+ years of experience in test automation and software testing
  • 5+ years of experience with test automation tools and frameworks, including implementation
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, such as Python, Java, C#, Typescript
  • Proficiency working within GCP, AWS or Azure
  • Proven solid English communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with peers and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with HIPAA compliance and the security of PHI data
  • Familiarity with Healthcare IT standards as well as with Healthcare workflows
  • Proven excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Canada Residents Only: The salary range for Canada residents is $98,900 to $205,500 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
