The Senior Capability Analyst is an integral part of the Capability Team focused on ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction with an emerging internal product focused on improving OptumRx’s client experience and operational model.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the development of new functionality including analysis, documentation, user story testing, and production checkout testing
  • Assisting in release management processes including preparing materials to review with stakeholders, creating test plans, and coordinating with the IT scrum team and other impacted teams
  • Providing first level triage support for escalated emails into product/capability team inbox from front-end internal users, providing excellent customer service and ensuring requests for support are appropriately handled to ensure stakeholder satisfaction
  • Accountable for user process documentation materials including job aids, process flows, training, partner testing, and external user communications
  • Effectively manage and execute multiple high priority tasks/projects. Clearly identify and communicate status, blockers, barriers, risks as needed
  • Maintain source of truth documentation, and ensure high quality outcomes

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product or Capability Analyst, or similar role interfacing with both business and technology teams
  • 1+ years of experience with Agile project methodology and tools (specifically AHA and Rally)
  • 1+ years of experience working in an area related to data integration including but not limited to data identification, extraction, mapping, and validation and quality assurance
  • 1+ years of experience writing test cases and/or acceptance criteria, creating test plans for technology releases, and executing user acceptance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the RxCOMET application
  • Healthcare industry experience, preferably within Optum Rx
  • Experience with root cause analysis and creating new processes to increase team efficiency
  • Experience with data analysis, visualization, and management, as well as automation within Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with communication, collaboration, integration, and facilitating meetings with Microsoft Teams
  • Experience with design, content creation, and delivery of presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Role supporting capability/technical product team development
  • Solid analytical skills, well organized, and detail-oriented
  • Proven exceptional interpersonal and communication skills: ability to effectively collaborate with global team members, across both technology and business teams, and with everyone from new users to leadership to foster a positive team environment and reputation for our capability

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
