The Pharmacy Network Product Strategy Manager will be responsible for innovating and ideating on new Network and Health Equity Products.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute pharmacy network product and Health Equity strategy, leveraging insights into market dynamics, member utilization patterns, and financial impact to inform network design recommendations
- Lead end-to-end development of new pharmacy network and health equity products, including conceptualization, business case modeling, partner engagement, and post-implementation performance tracking and drive products through the Accelerate process
- Drive complete end to end product ownership from initial concept through development, using product playbook standards
- Develop comprehensive financial models and analysis, including P&L forecasting and business case development for new and existing products
- Own product commercialization, including go-to-market planning to ensure successful product launches and sustained growth
- Cultivate and maintain solid relationships with internal and external partners to collaborate on pharmacy network initiatives and programs
- Develop recommendations on the strategic direction of the pharmacy network to enhance the value proposition for clients
- Remain current on pharmacy industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory impacts to inform network strategy and contracting approaches
- Prepare and present reports, recommendations, and business cases related to pharmacy network initiatives to executive leadership

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of product development experience (Business Products not IT) in a consulting or innovation role in pharmacy benefit management, managed care, and/or related fields
- 2+ years of experience within pharmacy or pharmacy provider networks
- Experience launching new products from ideation to commercialization
- Experience communicating across all levels of the organization, including presenting to internal & external stakeholders
- Excellent familiarity with the Product Development Lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with strategic thinking: analyze market data, create strategic/long range plans, interpret competitive intelligence & identify opportunities
- Experience working with client account managers
- Experience with brainstorming and assessing new ideas
- Experience in OptumRx “Accelerate” Process
- Project management experience
- Experience in data analysis tools (PowerBI, SQL, Excel macros)
- Knowledge of Health Equity
- Knowledge of Network Management and Relations
- Six Sigma expertise

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
