- Conducts outreach to qualified patients in a confidential manner with strict adherence to policies and procedures
- Articulates clinical services effectively, leading to patient engagement and program participation
- Performs data entry and complete written documentation of calls
- Maintains department productivity levels for customer satisfaction and performance goals
- Communicates positively and professionally with patients, providers, and team members
- Answers a multiple line telephone system and triage the call to the appropriate party
- Completes administrative duties to include processing mail and faxes
- Performs other projects, work, and activities as assigned to ensure continuous service to our patients and clients
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years of age OR Older
- 2+ years of Customer Service experience
- Ability to report on site at least 3 days a week
- Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 6:00pm CST, Monday – Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of call center experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word (modifying documents) and Microsoft Excel (ability to modify and maintain spreadsheets) Sales experience
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
- Sales experience
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Reside within commutable distance to the office at 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
