The Patient Engagement Representative is primarily responsible for supporting the pharmacists delivering comprehensive medication management services for Genoa Clinical Services (GCS) in a call center environment.
This position is full time Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am – 6pmCST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. Employees are required to work 3 days onsite and 2 days from home.
We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule.
If you are within commutable distance to the office at 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344, you will have the flexibility to work from home and the office in this hybrid role* as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conducts outreach to qualified patients in a confidential manner with strict adherence to policies and procedures
  • Articulates clinical services effectively, leading to patient engagement and program participation
  • Performs data entry and complete written documentation of calls
  • Maintains department productivity levels for customer satisfaction and performance goals
  • Communicates positively and professionally with patients, providers, and team members
  • Answers a multiple line telephone system and triage the call to the appropriate party
  • Completes administrative duties to include processing mail and faxes
  • Performs other projects, work, and activities as assigned to ensure continuous service to our patients and clients

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR Older
  • 2+ years of Customer Service experience
  • Ability to report on site at least 3 days a week
  • Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 6:00pm CST, Monday – Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of call center experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word (modifying documents) and Microsoft Excel (ability to modify and maintain spreadsheets) Sales experience
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
  • Sales experience

  • Reside within commutable distance to the office at 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
