This position is full-time, Monday – Friday. Employees are required to work an 8-hour shift between our normal business hours of 9:00 am – 5:30 pm local time.
We offer 8 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 8:00 am – 4:30 pm PST (9:00 am – 5:30 pm MST), Monday – Friday.
If you are located in MST or PST Time Zone, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Call members to schedule in home visits with a Physician or a Nurse Practitioner
- Answer inbound calls from members and assist them with their inquiries
- Ensure that the appointments are scheduled accurately and resolve any scheduling issues or concern
- This is high volume, customer service environment. You’ll need to be efficient, productive and thorough dealing with our members over the phone. You also must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes evening hours. Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
- Must 18 years of age OR older
- 1+ years of work experience
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook (create / edit / save / send documents, spreadsheets and correspondence)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements
- Ability to work an 8-hour shift between our normal business hours of 9:00 am – 5:30 pm local time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with working in the health care industry
- Experience with working with Medicaid OR Medicare
- Experience with working in a customer retention focused role
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Reside within MST or PST Time Zone
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
Soft Skills:
- Ability to type and talk at the same time while navigating through multiple screens
- Experience with working in a metric-driven work environment
- Experience with using an auto dialer system

The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
