We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Optum Insight Chief Information Officer (CIO). The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a high level of discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CIO, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the CIO and internal/external stakeholders. Draft, review, and manage correspondence, reports, and presentations
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize and prepare materials for meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions. Ensure the CIO is well-prepared for all engagements.
  • Project Management: Assist in the planning and execution of special projects and initiatives. Track project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Information Management: Maintain and organize information and documentation. Ensure that all information is easily accessible and up-to-date
  • Event Planning: Coordinate and manage events, townhalls, and other activities involving the CIO. Handle logistics, invitations, and on-site support
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Liaison: Act as a liaison between the CIO and other executives, employees, and external partners. Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as an executive assistant or in a similar role, preferably supporting C-level executives
  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

The hourly range for this role is $23.70 to $46.35 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
