Position Highlights:

• Collegial group practice with a large referral base
• No call required
• Excellent support staff and dedicated practice management systems in place that allows you to practice at the top of your license
• Provide direct patient care focused on the treatment of obesity and related comorbidities using a comprehensive, evidence-based and compassionate approach
• Patient schedule is 36 clinical hours and 4 administrative hours (hybrid in-office visits, and telemedicine)
• Seeking a candidate who is collaborative, willing to learn and stay current in the rapidly evolving field of obesity and lifestyle medicine, participate in meetings, case discussion/ journal clubs, help launch a new clinical site under our direction and comfortable collaborating with referring clinicians
• State of the art Epic EMR system
• Student and Resident teaching; and Research opportunity available if desired

Required Qualifications:

• BC/BE in ABOM
• Unlimited Licensure in the state of Massachusetts
• Active DEA License

Preferred Qualifications:

• ABIM, ABFM or 1 year of experience in obesity medicine preferred
• Experience working within a Team Care model
• Fluency in EMR systems & technology

The salary range for this role is $ $371,000 to $ $735,500 annually based on full-time employment. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
