As a member of the Strategic Data Management (SDM) team, the Data Quality Business Analyst Consultant will play a key role in advancing data quality practices across Home and Community Care Solutions (H&CCS). You’ll lead efforts to monitor, analyze, and improve data quality, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
This role requires a solid blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and collaborative leadership. You’ll be instrumental in identifying data issues, developing remediation strategies, and supporting continuous delivery of high-quality data across platforms.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Advance the organization’s thinking of data quality concepts, capabilities, and functions while explaining the benefits of Data Quality within the context of the user’s needs
- Collaborate with database developers to drive clear documentation of data flows
- Partner with Business, Technology/IT, Data, and Strategic Product teams to manage project commitments in an agile framework; rapidly delivering value to our customers via technology solutions
- Lead data profiling, cleansing, and quality monitoring across structured and unstructured data sources and healthcare data domains
- Develop and maintain data quality rules, standards, and exception handling processes
- Implement automated solutions for data validation, anomaly detection, and remediation
- Support reference data updates and perform exploratory data analysis using SQL and other cloud computing tools
- Monitor data pipelines and use statistical methods to detect integrity issues
- Act as a subject matter expert for data-centric initiatives and quality efforts
- Ensure development aligns with data quality dimensions: completeness, accuracy, validity, uniqueness, and timeliness
- Report findings to leadership to inform decisions and prioritize improvements

Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of healthcare data experience
- 5+ years of advanced SQL experience
- 5+ years working with data quality and governance tools (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Talend, Unity Catalog, MS Purview, etc.)
- 5+ years in data analysis, management, and quality roles
- 3+ years implementing automated data quality frameworks
- 3+ years programming experience (Kafka, Java, C++, Python, R, etc.)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, DBT etc.)
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Ability to work standard business hours in CST
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience presenting data quality insights and analysis
- Experience with scripting for automation
- Hive experience (DDL, DQL, DML) and ETL procedures – Big data platform. Optum data in HIVE
- Familiarity with Data Governance concepts and practices
- Implementing data quality monitors for API streaming or real-time data quality on schemas
- Comfortable with Linux/Unix environments

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
