Data Insights Leader (Operations / Quality)- Dublin & Letterkenny, Ireland
The Data Insights Leader is a senior business leader with strong data analytics expertise, responsible for shaping and executing the insights agenda across Operations and Quality. This role goes beyond reporting – it defines the right studies, ensures rigorous execution, and transforms data into actionable intelligence that enables executives and frontline leaders to make faster, better decisions.
Schedule: This is a full-time position with standard working hours of Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. Will need to have flexibility with working across global time zones.

Primary Responsibilities of the Data Insights Leader(Operations / Quality):

Define and execute studies: Frame business-critical analyses, set hypotheses, and drive follow-through from design to delivery.

Establish baselines: Define operational and quality benchmarks, create consistent KPI definitions, and support leaders in monitoring progress against targets.

Enable leaders: Partner with Operations, Quality, and Client teams to ensure insights are not just available but usable – empowering leaders to act with confidence.

Support enterprise needs: Anchor core deliverables such as QA analytics, client audit risk assessments, and CSD data support while directly supporting Optum Health initiatives.

Drive innovation: Lead efforts to consolidate data points across systems (e.g., MRM, Gamma, Snowflake) and pioneer new ways to integrate, visualize, and apply insights.

Strategic alignment: Work closely with cross-functional leaders (WFM, Program Management, Quality & Training) to remove data burdens from their scope, enabling them to focus on building sustainable frameworks.
Required Qualifications of the Data Insights Leader(Operations / Quality):

Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Operations Management, or related field) or equivalent experience

Extensive experience in analytics, operations strategy, or related fields

Demonstrated experience in leadership roles, with proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and guide cross-functional initiatives

Experience in healthcare, risk adjustment, or large-scale operations environments

Proven track record in data-driven decision-making at scale (Operations, Quality, or Healthcare industry preferred)

Knowledge of analytics tools and data platforms (SQL, Python, PowerBI/Tableau, Snowflake or equivalent)

Ability to define KPIs and baselines, monitor progress, and communicate impact clearly to senior stakeholders

Demonstrated experience translating complex analyses into clear business narratives for executive audiences
Preferred Qualifications of the Data Insights Leader(Operations / Quality):

Experience working with AI/ML-driven analytics or predictive modeling

Familiarity with risk adjustment, QA frameworks, or healthcare client delivery models

Background in change management or building new functions in large-scale operations

Strong presentation and storytelling skills, including executive-level communication

Previous exposure to Copilot/AI assistant projects or data governance initiatives

Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) preferred, especially with a focus on analytics, operations, or healthcare management
