About the role:
As a Senior Data Analyst within the E&I Affordability team, you will play a key role in leveraging advanced analytics and AI to drive affordability initiatives in the U.S. healthcare system. This position involves collaborating with business stakeholders and data science teams to refine requirements, build predictive models, and develop scalable data pipelines. You will analyze complex datasets to identify trends, create impactful visualizations, and deliver actionable insights to leadership. The role requires strong technical skills in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools, along with experience in data engineering and familiarity with modern AI frameworks.
Primary responsibilities of the Senior Data Analyst, E&I Affordability:

Learning the complexities of the US Healthcare system

Collaborate with business stakeholders, ideation teams and data sciences teams to refine data requirement and roadmaps

Leverage the power of AI to analyze complex datasets and feed predictive models
-
Build predictive models where necessary
-
Use API access to AI models and build robust software solutions.

Identify trends and opportunities for affordability through analysis of complex datasets.

Build own data pipeline when required, validate data pipelines and provide design inputs to build scalable data and analytics processes and data flows

Build visualizations and deliver data insights to leadership

Required qualifications of the Senior Data Analyst, E&I Affordability:

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant subject or equivalent experience

Ability to write efficient, maintainable code (Python preferred) and sound software engineering fundamentals

Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a healthcare or managed care setting
-
Ability to understand and explain complex data models

Ability to write, understand and explain complex queries (SQL) and tuning queries for performance
-
Experience with at least one RDBMS (Snowflake preferred)

Ability to build data visualizations in at least one data platform (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

Experience using and configuring version control and CI-CD processes (Git preferred)
Preferred qualifications of the Senior Data Analyst, E&I Affordability:
-
Familiarity with machine learning or predictive modeling
-
Building real world AI solutions, knowledge of frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI is a plus

Experience building applications with Streamlit

Prior experience in data engineering and familiarity with any data workflow orchestration tool (example: ADF, Airflow) and cloud-based data analytics platform (Azure Databricks preferred)
