As the Clinical Pharmacy Support Assistant II, you are an integral member of a medical team and is dedicated to delivering excellent customer service and strengthening the patient/clinician relationship.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Training: Serves as a role model for support staff, trains new hires, and may assist with interviewing, onboarding, and leading daily huddles
- Advanced Administrative Support: Performs high-level tasks including data collection for reports, managing follow-ups, and developing departmental procedures

Scheduling & Coordination: Manages Clinical Pharmacy referrals, appointment scheduling, provider templates, and patient outreach for rescheduling
- Customer Service Excellence: Resolves complex service issues, advocates for patients, and ensures smooth communication across departments and external partners
- Operational Support & Projects: Participates in care improvement initiatives, provides backup coverage, and fulfills Clinical Pharmacy Support Assistant I responsibilities

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting
- 1+ years as a Clinical Pharmacy Support Assistant (a bachelor’s or associate degree may be substituted for one year of experience)
- Proven ability to respond knowledgeably to a wide range of patient issues
- Solid technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, scheduling software and electronic medical records systems (Epic or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in medical office administration program
- Proven solid problem solving and complex patient management skills
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 to $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
