Job Summary:
Information and Technology Services (ITS) has an exciting opportunity for an ERP Business Analyst Intermediate to join the Research Administration Systems Team within ITS.
This position will report to the Assistant Director of eResearch, and will be responsible for supporting eResearch, a set of integrated applications that support research proposals, awards, and compliance reviews. These systems are critical to the University's $2B+ research mission.

Responsibilities:
- Provides daily operations and tier three support for applications. Actively coordinates with team members, service support groups, and vendors to effectively resolve incidents and requests
- Studies, develops and demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of internal procedures, business processes, and systems within the scope of a functional area
- Works as liaison among customers to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes and information systems
- Designs and documents technical requirements for new or modified application features
- Configures application features or report features with workflow and reporting tools
- Executes test plans to support infrastructure, integrations, software upgrades and releases

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent combination of education, certification and experience
- Minimum of two years demonstrated experience in a related role requiring confidentiality, timeliness, customer service, organization, prioritization, creative problem solving, and working independently to successfully conduct systems and process analysis and design
- Demonstrated skills in gathering, translating, prioritizing, and documenting system requirements
- Demonstrated skills in systems analysis, design, development, and system testing
- Demonstrated skills in data analysis and process modeling tools and techniques
- Demonstrated skills in report/dashboard authorship, SQL based query tools, and data modeling
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills including strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively through all levels of management and matrix organizations
Desired Qualifications:
- Working knowledge/experience of Research Compliance related systems
- Worked on a team/project that has moved an application to cloud based technology

This position is currently eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode, this can change in the future at the discretion of the hiring department.
