Job Summary
Disability and Accessibility Services (DAS) has an exciting opportunity for a student who is customer service oriented, flexible, calm under pressure, positive, and professional.
Duties and responsibilities include general office operations, email and marketing efforts, interacting with faculty and students and customer service.
In need of an Office Assistant to join the team that has high math skills and knowledge.
Position requires 10-20 hours per week with the workday schedule to be determined each semester based on need of office.
Responsibilities*
- Be committed to maintaining confidentiality.
- Serve as the DAS offices front desk check in
- Must be comfortable with phone and in-person communication.
- Be an ambassador for the office including exam rules and procedures.
- Assist with proctoring exams.
- Work with students one on one, needing assistance with course materials.
- Formatting materials.
- Compile data in a timely manner and share with supervisor.
- Be willing to take on other assigned duties
Required Qualifications*
- Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft, Excel).
- Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as cooperatively with consistent attention to details.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Have a willingness to follow directions, ask questions, and follow through on longer term projects.
