Who We Are

Consulting for Statistics, Computing, and Analytics Research (CSCAR @ ISR) is a service unit within the University of Michigan's Institute for Social Research, with service spokes located in the Statistics Department within LSA and the Department of Biostatistics within the School of Public Health. CSCAR @ ISR supports U-M researchers in their work involving research design, data analysis, and research dissemination. CSCAR @ ISR consultants work directly with investigators, including faculty, students, and staff, who are engaged in all areas of research conducted at the University of Michigan. CSCAR @ ISR seeks a Statistical and Data Science Consultant to serve as a member of its core staff within the Institute for Social Research. The individual will collaborate closely with U-M researchers on challenging and innovative research questions, with a particular focus on survey research, including sample design, questionnaire design, modern survey data collection techniques (e.g., mixed-mode design, data collection via mobile devices, responsive and/or adaptive survey design), and analysis of survey data.

Job Summary
