Job Summary
This position is for an assistant research scientist responsible for developing the system architecture and design of a neural recording device intended to restore communication for stroke patients.
Responsibilities*
The Research Scientist will work on the neural interface system design, including hardware design, embedded system integration, and benchtop testing. This role is needed for advancing the project through prototype-stage development and toward a clinically deployable system within the funding timeline.
Required Qualifications*
- PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering
- 1 or more years of relevant postdoctoral research experience
