Administrative Specialist - Epidemiology/Infection Prevention

Key responsibilities include managing departmental calendars, preparing reports and presentations, maintaining confidential records, assisting with compliance and accreditation efforts, and facilitating communication across hospital units. The Administrative Specialist also supports the Infection Control Subcommittee, and the department’s response to emerging infectious threats and contributes to quality improvement and surveillance activities.
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Provides coordination and support for Programs.
Develops and maintains information systems including databases electronic files and websites.
Develops implements and maintains effective and professional office practices and procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent
Experience: 2 years relevant experience
Licensure: None required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
