Radiology Reading Room Coordinator

- Ensures that the quality assurance activities are comprehensive coordinated and includes review and reporting of appropriate information.
- Participates cooperatively within the team to efficiently fulfill the goals and responsibilities of the department.
- Participates in various teaching and/or learning opportunities.
- Collects analyzes and oversees data reflected in reports of mis-dictations preliminary and final Radiological reports.
- Implements corrective action when problems or opportunities are identified.
- Monitors physician reading rooms.
- Supports and participates in departmental focus groups.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School graduate or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience: 1 year relevant experience required.
Licensure: None required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
