Primary role is that of a Radiation Oncology System Administrator. Will provide technical support and system administration for complex medical technology infrastructure across multiple UVA Health radiation oncology locations, including Emily Couric Cancer Center, Gainesville, and regional sites. This role requires expertise in healthcare IT systems, medical device integration, enterprise-level troubleshooting, and project management in a mission-critical clinical environment.
  • Performs duties of considerable complexity in support of computing systems
  • Demonstrates overall responsibility for hardware/software installation and maintenance system performance and problem resolution
  • Analyzes future needs and makes recommendations
  • Provides high level expertise and technical direction for systems hardware/software support services
  • Supports both internal and external customers.
  • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

This position necessitates regular on-site support.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's degree required
Experience: 5 years of experience required. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Licensure: None required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.

Position Compensation Range: $38.22 - $76.45 Hourly
