About the Role
As the ED Clinical Support Supervisor, you’ll oversee a dynamic team of Emergency Department Technicians and Paramedics, ensuring seamless operations in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This position is ideal for a paramedic with proven leadership experience, preferably someone who has thrived in an emergency department setting.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a medic level provider.
- Licensure/Certifications: Certified as an EMT-Paramedic or EMT-Intermediate with the Virginia Department of Health/Office of Emergency Medical Services. Certification in Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) or equivalency. ACLS and BLS provider required (instructor certifications preferred).
Preferred Qualifications – Include 3–5 additional skills or experiences. List in this order:
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Paramedic Preferred
- Experience: Previous Supervisory Experience Preferred. EMS experience in a dual volunteer/career system model preferred.
- Licensure/Certifications: PALS NRP/STABLE ITLS/PHTLS provider preferred.
Physical Demands – Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling, climbing (ladder, steps) and driving. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull > 100lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, vibrations, humidity, cold, heat, noise, outdoor climate, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
Compensation
- The pay rate for this role starts at $63,939 annually. New hire compensation will be determined by education and experience.
Onboarding Requirements
Background checks and pre-employment health screenings will be conducted on all new hires prior to employment. All safety-sensitive positions with direct patient interaction also require a drug screen.
Position Compensation Range: $63,939.20 - $102,294.40 Annual
