Nursing Governance Coordinator

This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent editing skills, and the ability to manage and update content within a content management system. The position will be part of the collaboration between patient education and clinical teams to support the development and maintenance of patient education materials, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to build positive, professional working relationships. This role works in a collaborative environment, manages multiple priorities effectively, and ensures accuracy and consistency in all patient-facing content.
Provides direct and coordinating support for assigned nursing programs and special initiatives
Demonstrates advanced skill with electronic collaboration systems (virtual platforms, surveys, etc)
Maintains relevant electronic/written resources related to assigned areas of responsibility, including organization level resources and web editing
Provides guidance and support to internal and external customers on complex problems or challenges
Participates in nursing and organizational governance structures to support program and project specific initiatives
Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills
Prepares written/presentation materials as appropriate in partnership with nursing/clinical assigned partner(s)
Maintains awareness of Magnet designation requirements and demonstrates effective Magnet evidence management
Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements within assigned area of responsibility
Coordinates administrative aspects of Nursing Governance programs/operations
Ensure procurement and purchasing procedures are followed and budgets are managed accordingly
Supports/coordinates logistics for on and off-grounds nursing events
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience required.
Licensure: None.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
The starting base rate for this role is $70,000.00 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.Benefits
