- Demonstrates basic healthcare operation knowledge.
- Maintains compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Engages in professional self-development.
- Performs tasks to reinforce industry specific issues related to the degree as well as the needs of the Health System.
- Individual assignments are completed under the direction of the appropriate Health System Leader.
- Develops recommendations around how to improve processes.
- Demonstrates computer skills and proficiency in the utilization of standard software specific to departmental needs.
- Communicates and collaborates with assigned work team to provide backup coverage and support as needed.
- In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Actively enrolled in a degree for Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related area.
Experience: No experience required; relevant work experience healthcare or public health preferred
Licensure: None
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
