Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Skills & Abilities
- Advanced knowledge of principles and practices within a designated professional field
- Demonstrated professional-level customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to learn and train on new computerized systems
- Strong attention to detail, sound problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to maintain confidentiality while managing competing priorities
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, patients, vendors, and visitors in a professional university environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Relevant certification or professional licensure (as applicable).
Skills & Experience
- One or more years of experience in a related professional field, preferably within an academic environment
- Familiarity with University of Virginia policies, procedures, and internal systems such as Workday, SIS, Salesforce, and Advance
