The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia invites applicants for one or more part-time (up to .33 FTE), faculty wage (non-tenure eligible) Marketing faculty positions for the 2026-2027 academic year.
The faculty member will teach 1.5–7.5 credit hours during the 2026-2027 academic year, primarily Principles of Marketing, with additional teaching as needed based on instructional needs.
Qualifications:
- A master's degree in Business or a closely-related field is required; a Ph.D. in a relevant field is preferred.
- Relevant industry or educational experience is required; previous teaching experience in a higher education setting is preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative team skills and the desire to work in a dynamic environment that stresses teamwork, innovation, and student-centered learning is required.

Physical Requirements: This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
