Senior Technical Scrum Lead

In this role, you will:
Provide agile methodology services to cross-functional technology-related project(s) or product(s) teams, demonstrating technical expertise to improve productivity of teams and quality of work processes and outcomes. Project(s) or product(s) often have enterprise-wide implications.
What it takes:
- Deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Backlog Management, and Agile best practices (relative sizing, forecasting and throughput, user story splitting, etc.).
- Experience with Marketing Technology and Content Management Services
- Ability to implement Scrum Framework and Kanban Methodology in full. A deep understanding of Agile frameworks and practices will be called upon to coach and mentor your team so that they improve sprint over sprint.
- Ability to implement standard Agile practices on a day-to-day basis within the product team, including collaborating with team members, leaders, and stakeholders to work through impediments that are blocking Agile adoption.
- Ability to act as a strong proponent of Agile practices within the product team.
- Must have an Agile Mindset and promote the value of servant leadership, situational awareness, conflict management, continuous improvement, empowerment and increasing transparency. Ability to use backlog and portfolio management tools such as JIRA, Actionable Agile, Agile Roadmap to build out sprint boards, open and close sprints, move work items, create and tag releases, create and update key milestones, collect and use the data for forecasting and predictability, create and implement filters and dashboards.
- Ability to use collaboration tools such as Confluence and SharePoint to create documentation and artifact repositories for knowledge transfers and sharing.
- Ability to understand and discuss the MarTech platforms that the product team is focused on with developers, leadership, and stakeholders.
- Ability to serve as a Scrum Master on technical projects of mid- to high-level of complexity.
- Ability to drive and coach on value-based delivery in small batch sizes vs project delivery. Providing tangible business outcomes at the end of each sprint and meeting key dates and milestones.
- Knowledge of Agile technology practices such as DevOps, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and quality assurance best practices. Ability to partner with technical leads to help drive automation, reduction of toil, deployment frequency, etc. setting continuous improvement goals.
- Must be able to communicate, written and verbal, status on key miles, risk, dependencies while activity driving to remediate and escalating when needed.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Computer Science or Engineering experience preferred. Graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of six years related work experience. Four years of leading large cross-functional teams on major organizational technology projects preferred. Financial Services and technical experience.
- Scrum Master certification (PSM I/CSM I or higher)
