Change Management Transformation Lead

The Change Management Lead plays an integral role in the success of the Institutional Investor Group's (IIG) technology transformation. In this role, you will collaborate with strategic partners, both internal and external, to develop a comprehensive change strategy, and be accountable for driving that strategy's execution. In addition, the Change Management Lead will be expected to proactively identify and offer solutions for program risks and stakeholder concerns.
The ideal candidate will:
– collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
– possess the ability to translate between both the IIG business and IT.
– demonstrate strong program and project management skills.
– navigate an ambiguous and complex environment.
In this role, you will:
1. Develop, implement, and monitor master change and communication plans for large departmental or multi year initiatives and programs. Contribute expertise and lead a business engagement plan, including ways of assessing readiness and feedback. Secure senior management buy-in across the department/division.
2. Provide insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior change management experiences. Serve as a trusted advisor to ensure business transformation and or change initiatives are aligned with the overall company strategy and market conditions.
3. Communicate business transformation and change management status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.
4. Build and maintain effective relationships. Proactively fosters communication between internal and external stakeholders. Influences key decisions across stakeholder groups.
5. Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks and any related issues. Communicate solutions on key issues or projects to management and stakeholders to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate.
6. Develop measurement processes for change management success that help business partners do self-assessments based on communicated maturity models.
7. Build and maintain productive working relationships with various project team members, consultants and stakeholders at both the executive and operational level.
8. Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
What it takes:

Deep program/project management experience required

Proven ability to navigate ambiguity

Effective relationship management skills

Minimum of five years related work experience. Three years of program/project management preferred.

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.

Strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel).
