The Impact You Will Have

In this role, you will be afforded new challenges with the opportunity to work within a team that is dedicated to a specific product type(s) or business line(s), allowing you to develop expertise in your discipline. This position also plays a significant role in business transactions including client and investor communication, supervision of analysts and the underwriting process, and creation and execution of marketing collateral.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Working closely with senior team members on presentations and financial analysis
  • Financial underwriting, due diligence review, and transaction execution
  • Performing comprehensive and in-depth company, real estate, and market analysis
  • Preparing presentations and other materials for clients, to include creating pitches, proposals, and marketing collateral
  • Understanding clients’ investment strategies and risk appetites to build long-term relationships
  • Conduct research, participate in strategic planning and idea generation, and assist in the execution of strategic advisory services
  • Providing mentorship and training to analysts and other team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Attendance is generally 4 days a week in office with the ability to work remotely on Fridays, with typical hours of 9/9:30-5:30/6

Education and Experience

  • 6 plus years of relevant commercial real estate finance experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in business, finance, or another related field


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Dedication to building a career in the financial services industry with a focus on commercial real estate finance
  • Strong ARGUS, financial analysis, and Excel modeling skills
  • Demonstrated ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of deals using financial modeling techniques and a strong attention to detail
  • Consistency in producing high quality work under tight time frames
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to conclusion within agreed upon deadlines
  • Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused, and collaborative team environment
  • Quarterbacking due diligence collection and review while managing external client relations
  • Demonstrated leadership or mentorship capabilities
  • An energetic self-starter who is flexible, organized, conscientious, proactive, and detail oriented
  • An individual who demonstrates a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
  • Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes
  • Courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholders
