In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop Bankruptcy duties, lead management teams while directing and creating programs and policies for bankruptcy and collection functions

  • Engage and support managers to accomplish goals, resolve complex problems and inquiries while ensuring overall compliance with government regulations

  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and risk control in bankruptcy claims

  • Oversee complex issues to maximize efficiency and enhance customer service

  • Consult with Senior Management or team to optimize bankruptcy and collection efforts

  • Determine appropriate strategy and action for bankruptcy team to meet moderate to high risk deliverables

  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures for Bankruptcy

  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior managers

  • Interact with internal and external customers

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Bankruptcy

  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

    Required Qualifications:

    • 6+ years of Loss Prevention, Bankruptcy or Customer Service experience in the financial industry, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

    • 3+ years of management experience

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bankruptcy Experience

    • Experience working with ECAR servicing platform

    • Project management experience

    • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas

    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

    • Virtual leadership experience

    • Manage identification of trends through providing monthly business insights

    • Focus on policy/procedure validation and highlight the areas needing change to secure stronger controls

    • Assure that we are effectively managing our business performance, team member performance and controls

    • Present to senior and executive level management on business performance and make recommendations on strategies to effectively change and assure risk adherence and process improvements

    • Support & drive strategic initiatives for the business.

    • Creation & evaluation of risk controls

    • Proactively identifying risk accompanied with ability to look broadly to other potential impacted areas outside of designated scope.

    • Collaborate across organizational lines and influence others without direct organizational authority.

    ​Job Expectations:

    • Up to 20% ability to travel

    • This position offers a hybrid work schedule
