About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Accountability Specialist within the Consumer, Small, and Business Banking (CSBB) Tool Governance and Business Office programs. This role will support CSBB's compliance with policies and provide support to the broader CSBB Risk Transformation & Governance team to ensure team artifact and reporting requirements are met.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide model and End User Computing Tool (EUCT) risk governance support to CSBB businesses by partnering with stakeholders to monitor deliverables and ensure deadlines are met throughout the model / EUCT lifecycle.
  • Assist with cross-team activities such as policy gap analysis and implementation plan, stakeholder training coordination, identification Deep Dive, job aid refresh processes
  • Support RCSA control requirements and procedure updates
  • Serve as Business Change Lead for CSBB CAO, ensuring Change Management Policy Requirements are met and supporting program monitoring / reporting.
  • Support CSBB Risk Transformation & Governance team BCP responsibilities
  • Support reporting and risk assessment deliverables, as needed.
  • Independently make decisions and resolve issues in complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business’s functional area or products, operations, and regulatory environment
  • Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within business and contribute to large-scale, cross-functional planning related to mitigation of current and emerging business risk issues and concerns
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid to senior-level managers to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in interpreting, developing, and implementing risk-mitigating strategies


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Model risk, governance, or modelling experience
  • Risk management, audit, or testing experience.
  • Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups; macros not needed)
  • Knowledge of Consumer products (either in consumer front line role or other lines of defense)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including meeting facilitation.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong presentation skills and experience with building PowerPoint presentations


Job Expectations:

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Pay Range:

New York NY: $100,800 - $179,200 Annually.

Pay Range

$84,000.00 - $179,200.00
