About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Associate.


In this role, you will:

  • Participate in planning and executing a variety of programs, services, and initiatives, and monitor key indicators to ensure effective performance and control management of assigned operations or business groups
  • Review basic initiatives including policy or process changes, process improvements, technology enhancements, and conduct regular reviews to identify efficiencies and cost savings opportunities
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgement while developing an understanding of policies and procedures, best practices, and initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with mid-level managers or cross-functional business partners
  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff


Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Functional/Technical:

  • Clear understanding of team priorities with the ability to execute day to day tasks in a timely fashion
  • Complete BAU responsibilities, AdHoc reporting deliverables and identify process improvement opportunities
  • Convert business problem statements into cost effective, scalable, reliable & user-friendly solutions
  • Engage with stakeholders to review open third party risks, and/or related risk assessment programs
  • Ability to assess risk, identify root cause and escalate for resolution - including quality assurance, surveillance and maintenance programs (including but not limited to data governance, resiliency, reporting, etc.)
  • Effective Communication:

  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate problem statements, objectives, and summarize team deliverables, goals and achievements
  • Ability and confidence to engage with global teams and stakeholders to drive deliverables forward with effective outcome-oriented conversations
  • Institute sturdy communication channels with stakeholders and team members
  • Teamwork & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate on change initiatives in a seamless manner, facilitate discussions with team members and subject matter experts to investigate and solve problems/bottlenecks for the team
  • Identify opportunities for increasing efficiencies, perform root cause analysis & propose solutions to improve front to back process/task
  • Partner with teams to ensure regulatory adherence and implementation of process controls and solve for key issues/needs
  • Risk & Control Mindset:

  • Identify and propose solutions to mitigate risk by measuring key risk indicators (KRIs), bottlenecks and adherence to regulatory/policy requirements
  • Collaborate with operational risk teams to log and monitor Issues and Corrective Actions when operational incidents are identified
  • Graduate degree, with relevant work experience
  • 6+ years of experience with project management, business execution, risk management, business solutions and/or quality assurance/surveillance
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, portray great levels of accountability and attention to detail
  • Candidates should be able to work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks and projects concurrently, while maintaining quality, accuracy and integrity
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Candidates should be able to work in a global team, interact at different levels and handle a wide range of deliverables with varying levels of complexities with focus on execution and result
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills to create persuasive PowerPoint presentations; Strong analytical skills leveraging Microsoft Excel/Access.
  • Experience working with data analytics, business intelligence, and data governance to drive tactical and strategic decisions and planning
  • Experience identifying and driving process improvements in complex environments
  • Ability to understand and work with data, including creating alignment among various data sources, developing trends, and creating risk-based analytics from multiple information sources. Experience with BI tools (ex. Alteryx, tableau is valued
  • Proven ability and experience in being able to look at the big picture across a risk program and implement successful strategy and solutions
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adherence to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and successfully work on several unrelated projects at the same time
