Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
- Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced Data Analysis and Visualization: Expertise in creating complex data models in Power BI, deploying sophisticated visual analytics, and utilizing Power Platform tools to interpret and present data insights effectively.
- Microsoft Power Platform Integration Expertise: Profound knowledge of integrating Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps to function seamlessly together. Skilled in configuring and managing connections, such as using Gateway for Power BI data refreshes, integrating Power BI with GitHub for version control, and linking Power Apps with Power Automate for streamlined workflows.
- Comprehensive API and Data Connectivity: Extensive experience with internal and external data sources, capable of leveraging APIs (REST, SOAP, Graph, OData) for data ingestion and integration. Expert in setting up and managing data gateways and ensuring secure, reliable connections across platforms.
- Software Development and Automation: Strong foundation in Python programming, with substantial experience in automating processes within the Power Platform and external applications. Capable of developing custom APIs to enhance and simplify operations.
- Leadership and Project Management: Proven ability to mentor and lead teams in technology adoption and integration. Skilled in strategic planning, deployment, and implementation of CI/CD processes for continuous improvement and efficiency.
