Wells Fargo is seeking a strong, experienced Product Management leader to oversee the team responsible for managing and improving the POS Financing product, offers, integration with partners and financial performance within Personal Lending.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop a team responsible for POS financing products, offers and integration strategies

  • Develop or influence business plans, product requirements, roadmaps and investments, and evaluations of new product lines and product expansions

  • Monitor and manage portfolio performance in partnership with Merchant teams, Credit Risk, Finance, Product Development, Analytics and other internal teams

  • Serve as a “thought leader” surrounding the trends, issues and opportunities associated with our merchant portfolio

  • Ongoing consumer and merchant segmentation analysis, behavior analysis and competitive market analysis

  • Coordinate with other product managers within Personal Lending to identify and leverage cross product synergies

  • Manage integrations, defining integration strategy, product needs and market position

  • Identify opportunities for improvement across all P&L levers, helping to drive and implement those opportunities in collaboration with cross functional teams

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years of Management experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of providing financing through partnerships (e.g., Retails Services, POS Installment Lending or Personal Loans)

  • In-depth experience in lending product management with P&L responsibilities

  • Experience using data, insights, competitive insights and cost benefit analysis to drive decisions in a cross functional, matrixed organization

  • Strong quantitative analysis to maximize performance metrics linked to lending P&L

  • Leadership experience and ability to effectively manage and engage teams, drive results, navigate conflict, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members

  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives

  • Proven ability to lead during times of ambiguity and change

  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with multiple stakeholders, businesses and functional areas and across all levels of the organization

  • Proven ability to effectively influence, partner, and negotiate at all internal organizational levels to gain commitment to accomplish business goals

  • Highly refined communicator, with experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels

  • Strong risk management leadership skills

  • A Masters of Business Administration (MBA), or another Master’s Degree or higher

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

  • 120,400.00- 287,600.00

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$120,400.00 - $250,000.00
