About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced individual who can provide platform support for Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT) organization and the applications and infrastructure they support. The individual will provide technology solutions to the LOBs and manage the applications portfolio in terms of skills, stability, security, scalability, speed, and cost.

This is a critical position within CCIBT Platform Management. It supports setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Commerical Capital systems. This role will provide support to internal and external applications, provide day to day support to the business users, monitor systems, perform technical refresh activities, application migration and BCP activities.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex, broad impact initiatives including provision of high level systems consultation for the technology teams
  • Work as key participant in large scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure for Systems Operations functional area
  • Review and analyze complex technical challenges, as well as escalated support issues related to core business solutions that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, such as alternatives, enhancements, periodic systems reviews, or improvements to existing systems
  • Make decisions on technical changes and enhancements
  • Consult with engineering team on change design requiring solid understanding of technical process controls or standards that influence and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with technical peers, colleagues, and mid to more experienced level managers to resolve systems support issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of experience providing monitoring tools support for applications built on JAVA or .NET or cloud platforms
  • 4+ years of application production support experience
  • 3+ years of experience with application and infrastructure domains, including Web, Application, Database, and Server technologies
  • 1+ year of Autosys experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Linux & Windows experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL
  • 3 + years of experience implementing, supporting or developing tools to integrate with ITRS Geneos
  • 3+ years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java, or PL-SQL
  • 1+ year of Splunk experience
  • Experience in financial services
  • Good understanding of Cloud technologies like OpenStack, Azure, AWS and Cloud Foundry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology production support: fast paced dynamic customer facing application which requires high availability
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology support: high volume 24x7 mission critical systems
  • Ability to take an active role in the education, mentoring and training of less experienced team members

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work in the office and at home in a hybrid model.

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
  • Ability to work on call as assigned
