About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Generative AI Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant to lead strategy and product/program management of Gen AI initiatives aligned to the Transcript / Data Processing domain for the Consumer lines of business.

Consumer Data, Analytics, & Artificial Intelligence (CDAI) enables responsible consumer growth and engagement across the consumer businesses including Consumer Small and Business Banking (CSBB), Consumer Lending (CL), and Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) through advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, development of foundational consumer data products, data management, and governance. Our AI team delivers a diverse portfolio of AI and Gen AI solutions with industry-leading methodology and capabilities. Our efforts are fully supported by executive leadership, and we work hand in hand with our business and technology partners through all stages of model development from ideation to deployment.

Key member of the Consumer Gen AI team, this role reports into the Head of Gen AI Strategy & Product Management. In this role, you will support idea generation, intake management, business case development, prioritization, end-to-end product/program management with Agile Scrum principles, and regular updates to senior leadership with associated stakeholder management across Consumer Lines of Business. This role will also influence platform infrastructure and capabilities, education of team members and stakeholders, and managing governance activities (in collaboration with Model Governance, Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams). In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with business partners and executives across CSBB, CL, and WIM to identify their highest priority Gen AI use cases and deliver on these priorities

  • Define Gen AI use case strategy, oversight of business requirements, bringing together Consumer-wide Data, Technology, Modeling, and UI/UX teams to enable and program manage the ‘Transcript / Data Processing’ domain

  • Drive the vision and strategy for ‘Transcript / Data Processing’ Gen AI use cases, aligning them with overarching business goals

  • Lead ideation and discovery efforts, collaborating with business partners, data scientists, and architects, and determine how to build out key capabilities for a target launch

  • Define business requirements and translate requirements into features actionable by various technology teams

  • Lead the development of product roadmaps, prioritizing features and enhancements to maximize business value

  • Develop project/program plans, including key stakeholders and manage day-to-day implementation and end-to-end delivery efforts across business/product teams and functional domains

  • Apply a working knowledge of Agile Scrum delivery framework in a multi-team environment to enable realization of outcomes from discovery through delivery to the market

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to contribute to and influence overall product vision and roadmap to convey desired outcomes through product backlog

  • Apply effective product backlog management including prioritization in alignment with OKRs to deliver the greatest value-based outcomes in alignment with overall product strategy

  • Lead project/program meetings and troubleshoot roadblocks/challenges as they arise to ensure timelines stay on track and to facilitate effective decision making

  • Entrusted to make decisions for the Transcript / Data Processing use cases, such as defining acceptance criteria, acceptance of stories and determining when the solution delivered will meet the definition of done to maximize value and iterative learnings from the team

  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure alignment on governance requirements and lead efforts to create change management artifacts

  • Follow industry trends in Gen AI across financial services, contributing to ideas and actively participating in proof-of-concept tests of new ideas

  • Mentor junior talent

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Direct experience with Gen AI, particularly in AI strategy, with a focus in financial services, technology, or related industry

  • Proven experience as a Product / Program Owner with a track record of successfully delivering products / complex projects

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to execute complex initiatives in large, matrix organization

  • Innovative mindset with a demonstrated ability to think creatively and drive out-of-the-box solutions

  • Focus on business outcomes, customer experience, and employee productivity

  • Prior experience with and/or working knowledge of generative AI solutions (development and/or deployment/integration), gen AI strategy, training, prompt engineering, familiarity with RAG architecture is preferred

  • Agile or Scrum certification is a plus

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$120,400.00 - $287,600.00
