    Wells Fargo is seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Senior Manager to lead the Foundational Hosting Platform Virtual Hosting and Converged Infrastructure Engineering organization.

    You are a been there, done that network/infrastructure executive that has worked in large, complex infrastructure leading teams. You can keep track and meet company initiatives while maintaining the current infrastructure.

    We need someone passionate about what they do and is always keeping the technology running as effectively as possible. As an expert in your space, you identify and recommend opportunities for internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals.

    Day to day, you’ll be expected to guide the team through Distributed Compute Hosting services (Virtualization, Cloud, Hybrid). You’ll manage multiple enterprise-wide infrastructure transformation programs for the enterprise, hitting every deliverable on time.

    We need someone with expertise with taking software/hardware products and services from inception to customer delivery and sustainment. Overall, you are the kind of candidate that has strong knowledge, understanding and prior experiences with regulatory drivers impacting a complex and dynamic global technology environment.

    You are unafraid to dig deep for root cause analysis and review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future. In your career, you have recommended courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness, always keeping aware of cutting technology.

    In this role, you will:

  • Ensure the Information Technology infrastructure is always functioning as effectively as possible
  • Oversee Information Technology infrastructure across multiple locations
  • Work with the networking and software engineering groups
  • Lead the efforts to maintain and develop Information Technology systems and networks companywide
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of Infrastructure Engineers to meet moderate to high risk deliverables
  • Make decisions and resolve issues regarding infrastructure to meet business objectives
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
  • Manage and develop Infrastructure Engineers in roles with moderate complexity and risk
  • Lead project teams to support network and communication implementations
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in Infrastructure Engineering
  • Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of Infrastructure Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of Management experience
  • Desired Qualifications:

  • BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience building, leading, managing, and mentoring high-performance engineering teams.
  • 4+ years of Distributed Compute Hosting services (Virtualization, Cloud, Hybrid).
  • Experience managing multiple enterprise-wide infrastructure transformation programs for the enterprise.
  • Experience with taking software/hardware products and services from inception to customer delivery and sustainment.
  • Strong knowledge, understanding and prior experiences with regulatory drivers impacting a complex and dynamic global technology environment.
  • Implementation of Infrastructure-as-a-Service.
  • Experience with Agile processes and cloud service development.
  • Proven experience transforming to and/or managing infrastructure functions in a product model construct, which would include participation in product roadmap planning and feature/backlog prioritization.
  • Experience managing strategic vendor and partner relationships both for OEM product acquisition/support as well as engagements to support the maturation and/or implementation of strategic initiatives, processes, and technology solutions
  • Travel: up to 20%

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
