About the Role
The team member will be a member of a team of data management consultants that drive Enterprise Data Assets (EDA) Enable Function. This individual will be responsible for working with internal Data Management Insights (DMI) and external business partners to complete the vision of EDA supporting non-discretionary risk and regulatory work. This work will require extensive business knowledge of Finance/Risk/Master & Reference Data (both Internal /External) across the Enterprise coupled with strong data analytic skills to ensure the Function meeting requirements and creating sustainable solutions.

In this role, you will:

The team member will partner with a team of professionals (employees, contractors, and statement of work resources across the Enterprise) to support the data roadmap in the following ways:

  • Understand/support business partners data & reporting needs from EDA
  • Participate & create data use cases which can be leveraged across the bank
  • Do data lineage analysis & associated data profiling
  • Identify data issues with the platform and create high level remediation plans
  • Work with data partners on data clean-up efforts
  • Assist in creation of data quality rules
  • Establish relationships and support the communication across business teams, technical partners, and upstream/downstream partners

Required Qualification:

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality or data analysis demonstrated through work or military experience (default required qualification)
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
  • Strong Knowledge of Finance or Risk or Master or Reference data product understanding
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience of working with users to understand business requirements, use case and convert them to implementable requirements to the respective Agile teams
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment
  • Ability to create complex SQL queries
  • Strong Data Quality and Data Profiling skills
  • Experience with Excel & MS Office Tools
