Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Small Business Industry Relationship Manager (LO) to support Consumer and Small Business Banking. As a Senior Small Business Industry Relationship Manager (LO) you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and growing relationships for small business clients within a specialized industry. Individuals have frequent interactions with clients to understand and meet their needs.
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in developing and maintaining profitable account relationships within Small Business Industry Relationship Management
- Act as the relationship manager to existing customers, determine customer's commercial loan and deposit needs and deepen existing customer relationships
- Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges
- Provide counsel and expertise as an advisor to the Bankers who have existing industry specific accounts
- Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and partners with others to meet Small Business Industry Relationship Management deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers
- Serve as a mentor for less experienced staff
- This LO position has customer contact and job duties which may include needs assessing and referring those customers interested in a dwelling secured product to a SAFE team member. This position includes assisting customers without taking an application and without offering or negotiating terms of a dwelling secured transaction. Individuals in a LO position also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations below
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Small Business Industry Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
Knowledge and understanding of business banking: sales or credit
Strong prospecting, sales, negotiation, and influence skills
Healthcare industry experience
Knowledge and understanding of sales and client management processes
Portfolio management skills
Job Expectations:
- Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies. The LO qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards. A current credit report will be used to assess your financial responsibility and credit fitness, however, a credit score is not included as part of the evaluation. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening, if necessary
