In this role, you will:
- Develop and lead programs, initiatives for data quality, governance, and metadata and reconciliation activities
- Design and conduct complex analysis to identify and remediate reconciliation, data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps
- Review and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation with general ledger, identify and investigate discrepancies or inconsistencies in financials
- Continuously evaluate and improve reconciliation processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Identify opportunities to automate tasks and streamline workflows
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal control procedures
- Analyze, assess, and test data controls and data systems to ensure quality, data governance and risk compliance standards are met
- Adhere to data governance standards and procedures
- Develop recommendations for optimal approaches to resolve data quality issues
- Drive planning and coordination on low to medium sized remediation efforts, acting as central point of contact
- Leverage domain expertise and data, business, or process analysis to inform and support solution design
- Participate in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies
- Provide input into communication routines with stakeholders, business partners, and experienced leaders
- Analyze data issues/root cause/business clarification e.g. mapping or data provider issues or data dependency issue. Define what the issue is and provide onshore teams recommended course of action.
- Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Additional Requirements:
- 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST
- Work from Office (as mandated by business, currently 3 Full Days in office)
Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience within Consumer Lending portfolio
- Strong data analytics skills
- Thorough knowledge of competitive markets, operations and various products and services
- Product Certification
Job Expectations:
Technical Expertise:
- Expert in SQL – Oracle or Teradata
- Knowledge of Big Data (Hadoop) Environment & experience in Hive/Spark and Python is a plus
- Experience in handling Metadata using Data Management Tool’s
- Good Knowledge & Experience in JIRA or any Defect Management Tool
- Good Knowledge & Experience in Agile Project Management Tools
- MS Office suite
- Exposure to Data Visualization Tool like Tableau/Power BI is a plus
