About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analyst, People Analytics (Lead Analytics Consultant), to join the People Analytics Strategic Consulting team. This is a senior role where you will balance your strong understanding of Human Resources (HR) and/or business analytics with strategic consulting engagements to help solve HR and business executives’ most complex and pressing challenges. You will consult with executives across HR and the business to understand, structure, and scope the business problem or question, lead the design of a well thought out yet practical analytical plan, and leverage advanced statistical techniques and analytical tools to deliver meaningful and actionable insights and impact presented in an intuitive, compelling, and easy-to-understand way. You will be a leader within the team and hands-on in raising data literacy within the function and supporting our team and clients in HR and the business.
In this role, you will:
- Consult with leaders across HR and the business, and review and research moderately complex talent, business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth analysis and/or evaluation leveraging a wide array of possible data factors.
- Work across multiple efforts in a fast-paced environment with multiple clients and competing priorities.
- Follow designated controls and processes to ensure adherence to relevant risk management, legal and compliance expectations, and requirements.
- Advise line of business and HR functions on business and talent strategies based on research of HR metrics, trends in population distributions, and other complex data analysis to inform and influence talent strategy.
- Strategize, plan and lead on analytics deliverables that are significant in scope, complexity, and risk as part of a geographically distributed team. Navigate multiple data sources, reporting tools and products to perform analysis and deliver insights.
- Translate complex analyses and technical concepts in simple, easy-to-understand business terms.
- Guide and consult senior leaders on advanced analyses that cross multiple HR domains, including talent acquisition, retention, employee engagement, and DE&I
- Coach and mentor less experienced staff in driving work to completion.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of internal or external strategic consulting experience engaging with executive leaders.
- 5+ years of experience influencing executives and/or their strategy by synthesizing analyses into actionable insights and impactful presentations.
- 3+ years of experience leveraging a statistical programming language (e.g., SQL, R [Posit], Python) to conduct analyses.
- 3+ years of experience designing, scoping, conducting and interpreting complex statistical analyses (e.g., regression, cluster analysis, ANOVA)
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MSc, PhD) in related field (e.g., Business Analytics, I/O Psychology, Economics, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in both influencing and leveraging Business Intelligence (BI) products and tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, etc.) for analysis, insight generation and consulting engagements
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$96,600.00 - $171,800.00Benefits
