About Global Treasury Management at Wells Fargo

Global Treasury Management (“GTM”) at Wells Fargo is one of the largest providers of treasury management services and operates across both our Commercial Banking and Corporate and Investment Banking businesses. The GTM business brings together our treasury management and digital business solutions to provide payment solutions, cash and liquidity management and more to Wells Fargo’s wholesale banking clients.

The Payments business within GTM covers innovative payments and receivables products that enable our clients to optimize their cash flow. Our payables products help clients streamline processes, better manage expenses, improve information access and add speed and transparency to their transactions. Our receivables products enable superior funds management through efficient processing of business receivables. The Payments business is critical for our client operations and is a key part of the GTM platform. The Payments Revenue Finance Director will be a strategic partner to this growing business.

About Payments Revenue Finance Director role

The Finance Director for the Payments business reports directly to the CFO for the GTM business. As a trusted advisor to the business, the Finance Director provides strategic financial leadership and support to the Payments business and its key product segments including cash management, commercial cards and merchant services. The Finance Director will provide management reporting, business analytics and financial guidance to support budgeting and forecasting and support growth of the business.

Key responsibilities:

· Lead production of management reporting for Payments Revenue

· Develop KPIs to measure and track performance of the business

· Lead budgeting and forecasting for the business by converting product and sales strategy into tangible goals for the business

· Collaborate with business and other finance team members to deliver seamless integration of financial reporting and analysis activities including client and product profitability analysis to facilitate business and pricing decisions

· Participate in goal setting activities for the business and provide analysis and support in the development of strategic and operating plans for the business

· Manage a team of high performing individuals and develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

· Lead development of executive level presentations for business reviews

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Finance experience or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 4+ years of Management experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • · Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required; MBA is preferred but not a must

    · Direct experience working as a Finance Director for a complex business or function

    · Experience in developing financial projections and establishing financial goals

    · Experience with cost benefit analysis on projects/initiatives.

    · Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain a highly engaged, high performing, and diverse team.

    · Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative management style and is execution-focused and results oriented

    · Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proven ability to coherently present complex financial topics tailored to all audiences.

    · Knowledge of Treasury Management fee products is preferred

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$173,300.00 - $359,900.00
