About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst/VP in the Investment Banking Finance group. This group sits within our Banking CFO organization and acts as a strategic advisor to Investment Banking and Corporate Banking leaders.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives on matters related to financial research and reporting as well as financial consulting related to business performance

  • Provide strategic advisory to senior executives in Banking division

  • Demonstrate technical expertise on matters related to financial reporting and forecasting as well as economic research in support of management decision making functions

  • Research strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning

  • Create succinct, professional presentations to drive strategic decisioning

  • Maintain effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards

  • Lead implementation of financial initiatives

  • Meet deliverables and drive new initiatives with solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Investment Banking or Management Consulting

  • Advance degree, CFA charter or CPA

  • Strong understanding of Investment Bank and/or Commercial Bank financials

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Essbase

  • Ability to synthesize data and make recommendations to senior leaders

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience creating presentations via PowerPoint and presenting to senior leaders

  • FP&A experience - quarterly reporting, expense management, headcount tracking

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$111,100.00 - $237,100.00
