About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Compliance Manager within IRM on the UDAAP Compliance Program who will be supervising the UDAAP Compliance Officer (CO) team. The CO team has an important function within the UDAAP Program to provide the organization with UDAAP subject matter expertise.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage a team responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining risk standards and programs to drive compliance with federal and state UDAP/UDAAP laws, regulatory agency guidance, Corporate UDAAP Policy requirements

  • Oversee the Front Line's execution and challenges appropriately on UDAP/UDAAP compliance related decisions

  • Provide compliance risk and regulatory expertise for compliance program elements where UDAP/UDAAP has applicability

  • Recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development

  • Manage coordination and communication with leadership regarding UDAP/UDAAP compliance risks

  • Implement strategic initiatives within the UDAAP Program

  • Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives

  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements related to UDAP/UDAAP

  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers

  • Lead team to achieve objectives

  • Manage communication and collaboration with business leaders, Legal, Audit, and regulators on UDAP/UDAAP related topics

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Compliance

  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Compliance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 2+ years of Leadership experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of UDAAP laws

  • Working knowledge of SHRP (Archer) and Veritas

  • An active Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation or working toward getting the CRCM


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

  • Willingness to work onsite at stated location on the job posting.

  • This position is not eligible for VISA sponsorship.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$111,100.00 - $197,500.00
