About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Growth Strategy Associate to join our Referral Programs and Recruiting Support Team. The Referral Programs and Recruiting Support - Advisor Recruiting is charged with leading the organic growth of the Firm by attracting the most successful, experienced Financial Advisors (FAs) across all Wells Fargo Advisors (WFA) Channels (Brokerage, Premier and FiNet). The Business Growth Strategy Associate will act as a Referral Program Manager that will report directly to the Director of Referral Programs and Recruiting Support. You will be responsible for vetting, processing and documenting referrals received through the Firm’s external and internal referral programs. You will also be responsible for identifying issues, escalating referral requests outside the program’s guidelines, onboard and/or terminate external recruiter firms, provide prospecting and lead data reporting and promote, market and educate internally about the referral programs. In this role, you will:
Manage queue of referrals received through the Advisor Recruiting Referrals and Team Member Referrals.
Document referral, check it meets minimum program guidelines and vet through salesforce to ensure there isn’t an existing lead source.
Partner with local channel leadership to accept/decline new lead(s).
Generate various recruiting reports, including but not limited to, prospecting, lead status and financial reporting through Salesforce.
Participate in defining and tracking metrics
Active External Recruiter (ER) contract maintenance - Following up with existing ER’s regarding contact information updates, name changes, terminations or business owner updates, contract amendments and fee adjustment notification letters.
Provide conflict resolution and input to ERs, referring team members and Managers in regard to lead acceptance, declines, meeting verifications, disputes and payment issues.
Provide ongoing evaluation of the referral programs processes, policies and procedures.
Ensure adherence to compliance regulations and policies
Monitor and provide edits/updates to firm intranet pages and referral program documents.
Onboard new ERs and manage existing external recruiters on contract in accordance with third party risk management program requirements.
Provide consistent communication regarding changes, new documents, etc. to our external recruiters through the Advisor Recruiting News Update emails and conducting ER zoom meetings
Promote, market, and educate internally about the Referral Programs Talent Scout and FASt.
Serve as Field contact and Subject Matter Expert (SME) and answer all incoming calls and/or emails in regard to the Referral Programs received from the Advisor Recruiting dedicated information line.
Required Qualifications:
6+ months of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Working knowledge and understanding of Salesforce, or Client Relationship Management platform (CRM)
Customer service focus with the ability to respond to requests in a timely manner
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skill
Ability to manage projects or programs including active and pipeline projects for adherence to enterprise guidelines
This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.
