About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Treasury Analyst to oversee, lead, and be responsible for liquidity risk reporting, major process re-engineering projects, and data enhancement projects for loan and commitment products. The ideal candidate has a strong risk mindset, intellectual curiosity, strong excel skills, SQL experience, relevant product knowledge, and enjoys working with data. We are looking for a highly motivated person who learns quickly and enjoys taking on challenges. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, prioritize multiple tasks, and communicate effectively is crucial.

In This Role, You Will

  • Manage and support global treasury activities with a focus on liquidity risk management
  • Be responsible for complex reporting and analytics on treasury finance metrics
  • Lead and serve as a subject matter expert for large scale data remediation and process overhaul projects related to funded loans liquidity reporting
  • Work with data providers to lead data quality and availability remediation work efforts
  • Document requirements to enhance reporting and complete and sign off on testing of implementation
  • Identify and implement control enhancements
  • Source, interpret, and document data lineage and transformations from system of record to report output
  • Document regulatory compliance and interpretations against report instructions
  • Collaborate with relates treasury groups, technology, lines of business, Internal Audit, Corporate Risk Management and outside parties including regulatory agencies, accounting, and consulting firms.
  • Serve as a leader on the team and role model; delegate work to and help develop junior team members
  • Develop recommendations and raise risks to LRM senior management.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in finance, accounting, or economics
  • Experience working at a large financial institution.
  • Financial analysis or accounting experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, and analyzing interest income and balance sheet behavior.
  • Knowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using SQL or similar querying methods.
  • Experience with general ledgers and accounting policies
  • Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$111,100.00 - $237,100.00
