About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant to serve in the role of Business and Data Analyst on the Wealth and Investment Management Technology (WIMT) Core Engineering team. This role will collaborate with engineering teams and product owners in the definition and enhancement of the Investment Management APIs that are core dependencies of the WIMT platform. In this role, the Business and Data Analyst will work closely with the Core Engineering Product Owner, Engineering Manager, development teams, and Stakeholders to understand the business rules, processes, and data structures of the Investment Management APIs and underlying core processing systems so that system changes and API specifications are clearly defined and communicated to enable successful product enhancements. Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of experience working with SQL
  • 4+ years of experience with the Investment Management or Brokerage business models to include BETA processing
  • 2+ years of experience with database tools such as Oracle SQL Developer or MongoDB Compass

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Knowledge and understanding of the WIMT Products and structure, Wells Fargo Product Transformation and Agile Transformation, and associated processes and systems
  • Experience with the BETA processing platform
  • Advanced-level knowledge and experience with Confluence, Jira; optionally, experience with Jira Queries and JQL, and Jira Automations
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems
  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of employees including management
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Advanced process efficiency experience, including process assessment, and recommendations for improvement
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Wells Fargo and WIM business models, WIMT Products and structure, and associated processes and systems

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • Position offers a hybrid work schedule
