About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Technology Operations Analyst who will be responsible for identifying and directing process improvements for Incident / Defect Management for the Merchant Services line of business while fostering cross-team collaboration and enhancing process documentation that can be leveraged across supporting teams. They will also be the technology lead on several third-party applications, ensuring that vendors remain compliant with policy standards and occasionally onboarding new applications, ensuring they will meet the standards.


In this role, you will:

  • Guide complex technology projects with broad impact for the business
  • Act as key participant in the plan development for Technology Operations
  • Analyze complex technical operations challenges which require in-depth evaluation
  • Conduct research and create reports and presentations on findings
  • Lead the development of process and operational improvements
  • Be the liaison with the onshore team and ensure communication and reporting of delivery from the offshore team
  • Ensure quality and security of the solutions and address remediation's as needed
  • Champion continuous improvement, including devising new strategies and new opportunities
  • Set performance standards for the team and ensure operations achieve or exceed performance metrics
  • Direct the daily Risk and Control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success; re-engineering and driving continual service improvement
  • Make decisions based on the understanding of the requirements that influence projects
  • Lead teams to meet deadlines and drive new initiatives
  • Review, approve, and implement recommended changes to plans
  • Collaborate and consult with employees to resolve initiatives and achieve technology directives
  • Act as a mentor for individuals


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Technology Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of incident management experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Merchant Services Technology
  • 1.5+ years of experience with 3rd party management (Application Management for third party vendor applications)
  • Experienced in using monitoring tools such as Thousand Eyes, Grafana, Splunk, and AppDynamics to monitor and maintain system health and performance
  • Knowledge in developing and maintaining Business Continuity Plans to ensure system resiliency and data protection
  • Familiar with supporting and optimizing Dynamics 365 CRM applications to meet business needs
  • Proficient in assisting with enterprise-level audit and control documentation to support compliance and organizational standards
  • Adept at using SQL server for database-related tasks, including querying and data analysis
  • Skilled in managing and automating workflows within Jira to improve efficiency and streamline operations
