Join a mission-critical team driving innovation in private cloud and data center modernization at scale. As an Engineering Associate, you'll support our OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and data center migration efforts that are foundational to the enterprise’s cloud transformation journey. If you're passionate about infrastructure engineering, modern cloud platforms, and gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, this role is for you.
In this role, you will:
Support the design, integration, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of technology solutions within the OCP (Private Cloud) ecosystem
Learn and apply the principles of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with a focus on quality, compliance, and security standards
Assist with the implementation of moderate to complex projects including data center migration and platform enablement
Build foundational skills in containerization, cloud-native tools, and automation through structured training and mentorship
Collaborate closely with senior engineers, architects, and project teams to troubleshoot issues and improve system performance
Interact with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners to meet technical and business objectives
Participate in a cohort-based, two-year development program designed to accelerate your technical and professional growth, with ongoing support and guidance from a dedicated program team
Required Qualifications:
6+ months of Technology Engineering and Solutions experience, or demonstrated equivalent through education, training, military, or work experience
Desired Qualifications:
6+ months of experience with GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools to automate builds and deployments
6+ months of experience developing backend or frontend applications using Java and JavaScript
Hands-on experience building applications using Node.js, deploying to Kubernetes, and developing with a microservices architecture
Experience deploying or supporting cloud-native applications using such platforms as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, or AWS
Experience using Generative AI (GenAI) tools or platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Azure AI, Google Vertex AI)
Basic understanding of containerization (Docker), version control (Git), and Agile methodologies
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset
Job Expectations:
Must be able to work onsite at least 3 days per week in a hybrid work environment
Willingness to actively participate in a two-year development program designed to help you build a strong professional foundation through ongoing training, mentorship, networking opportunties and career development resources
