About this role:

The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.

Within EFT we are seeking a strategic and technically adept Senior Infrastructure Engineering Manager to lead our Voice, Video, and IM Technology platforms, including Trader Voice, Enterprise Voice (Teams & Zoom), Fax, Instant Messaging, and Video Conferencing. This leader will drive the engineering vision and operational excellence of these critical communication services in a fast-paced financial services environment.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop Infrastructure Engineers in roles with moderate complexity and risk
  • Manage and optimize platforms to support the organization's digital information management needs
  • Lead project teams to support network and communication implementations
  • Ensure the Information Technology infrastructure is always functioning as effectively as possible
  • Oversee Information Technology infrastructure across multiple locations
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals
  • Work with the networking and software engineering groups
  • Lead the efforts to maintain and develop Information Technology systems and networks companywide
  • Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of Infrastructure Engineers to meet moderate to high-risk deliverables
  • Make decisions and resolve issues regarding infrastructure to meet business objectives
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures
  • Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in Infrastructure Engineering
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy


Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Infrastructure Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Teams and Cloud9
  • 3+ years of direct report management experience including, but not limited to, assigning tasks, conducting performance evaluations and determining salary adjustments


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Zoom, Symphony IM, and Bloomberg Chat
  • Proven track record in managing organizational change driving engineering excellence in an Agile environment
  • Strong technical understanding of networking, security, compliance, and data retention relevant to communications in financial services
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management skills
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence
  • Deep expertise in Trader Voice (e.g., IPC, BT, Cloud9), Enterprise Voice (SIP, Microsoft Teams Phone, Zoom), Video platforms, IM tools (e.g., Symphony, Microsoft Teams, Bloomberg Chat), and legacy and digital fax services
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Hands-on experience working on Scrum / Agile team
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR technology solutions, products and requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
  • Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams in a high-pressure environment
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a focus on proactive solutions


Job Expectations:

  • This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
