Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to join the Enterprise Business Resiliency Governance team. Enterprise Business Resiliency Governance works across the internal EBR teams (e.g., Planning, Exercise, Incident Management) and the Business Groups / Enterprise Functions resiliency teams (e.g., Cyber, Technology) to provide global, enterprise-wide direction of resiliency in line with the Enterprise Resiliency Risk Management Policy and Enterprise Resiliency Procedures. EBR Governance supports the implementation and execution of enterprise resiliency standards, processes, and controls, which allows for monitoring, testing, and detection of resilience risk across the enterprise.
In this role, you will:
- Perform review of controls across Enterprise Business Resiliency Risk Assessable Units, evaluating effectiveness of performance and mitigation of associated risks. Assigned controls must be well understood. Ensure the team's work is clearly documented and sufficiently detailed.
- Perform and provide guidance on continued enhancement of quality assurance of controls.
- Produce effective and actionable management reporting for EBR Senior Leadership Team and identify new reporting opportunities for enhanced risk and control views.
- Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the remediation of control gaps.
- Attend testing walkthroughs e.g., Internal Audit, Independent Testing & Validation (ITV), and Evidence Based Control Evaluation (EBCE) and support control owners and assist in response or updates required.
- Attend Risk & Control Self Assessment (RCSA) and provide support, challenge and advice to EBR teams in enhancement of documentation.
- Collaborate with EBR teams to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies including opening of self-identified issues.
- Review issue mitigation/remediation plans and provide counsel on mitigation effectiveness and alternative mitigation approaches.
- Manage issue, policy exception and risk acceptance portfolio to ensure timely identification of gaps and appropriate and timely risk mitigation.
- Support audits and regulatory exams and inquiries both direct and those indirect with EBR impact.
- Collaborate as part of the EBR Governance Regulatory, Risk and Control team to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives.
- Partner with business leaders and management of Business Group and Enterprise Functions to detect and mitigate resilience risk across the enterprise.
- Perform gap analysis for policies and/or regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate strategically with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals/
- Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience and knowledge with committee structure and operation
- Experience in change management, including governance and oversight to manage change risk.
- Risk and Control background.
- Experience with Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).
- Experience in Issues Management.
- Experience partnering with stakeholders such as compliance, front line control teams, and audit
- Experience preparing and delivering effective executive summaries, Board level materials, status reports for management and senior leaders
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a complex environment with a high degree of collaboration
- Ability to lead during times of ambiguity and change
Job Expectations:
- In office three days a week.
Role available in Chalotte, Minneapolis, West Des Moines
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$96,600.00 - $171,800.00Benefits
