The Wealth Management Data Solutions (WMDS) organization provides direct technology support for core engineering products, operational data products and data analytics. About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help with modernization and migration efforts in Wealth & Investment Management Technology, (WIMT) seeks to build and modernize a robust cross-product data warehouse leveraging Oracle and Informatica. In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives within Technology and contribute to large scale data processing framework initiatives related to enterprise strategy deliverables

  • Build and maintain optimized and highly available data pipelines that facilitate deeper analysis and reporting

  • Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors

  • Oversee the data integration work, including developing a data model, maintaining a data warehouse and analytics environment, and writing scripts for data integration and analysis

  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead teams to meet data engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of data information policies, procedures and compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with colleagues and managers to resolve data engineering issues and achieve strategic goals

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 4+ years of experience in SQL and Data Analysis

  • 2+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter

  • 2+ years of experience with UNIX scripting

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in development of data pipelines/ETL for data ingestion, transformation, and integration

  • 2+ years of experience in relational DBMS platforms, Oracle preferred

  • 2+ years of Data Modeling in PowerDesigner preferred

  • 1+ years of experience of Python, YAML, and automated testing practices

Job Expectations:

  • Position offers a hybrid work schedule

  • Ability to work additional hours as needed

    Pay Range

    Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

    $84,000.00 - $149,400.00
