This role is pivotal in building the next-generation Credit Intelligence AI platform for the Commercial Lending and Credit Financial Solutions organization.
You will lead the design and implementation of advanced AI/ML systems, leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), transformers, LangChain, LangGraph, and RAG architectures. You will also bring deep expertise in Python, microservices, SQL, ETL pipelines, and cloud-native development.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to applications and model
- Architect, design, and deploy scalable AI/ML applications using Python, transformers, and deep learning frameworks.
- Implement and fine-tune LLMs (e.g., GPT-4o, Claude, Gemini) for summarization, inference, chatbots, and RAG pipelines.
- Develop and maintain microservices using FastAPI, Flask, and gRPC, with robust RESTful and asynchronous APIs.
- Design and implement ETL pipelines for structured and unstructured data using Apache Airflow or custom Python-based solutions.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra) to support data ingestion, transformation, and retrieval.
- Integrate with internal and external systems using Kafka, Solace, and event-driven architectures.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of AI systems through containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (GCP, OpenShift, Tanzu)
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of experience with Python
- 3+ years of experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- 2+ years of experience with MicroServices to implement and consume REST APIs
Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Java engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, including neural networks, transformers, and LLMs
- 3+ years of experience designing and maintaining ETL pipelines and data workflows.
- 2+ years of experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agentic AI frameworks.
- Experience with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate) and RAG architectures.
- Proficiency in Python libraries: NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, FastAPI, Flask, PyMongo, SQLAlchemy, Matplotlib.
- Experience with prompt engineering, LLM fine-tuning, and embedding models.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, OpenAI APIs, and cloud-based AI services (e.g., GCP Vertex AI).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), container orchestration, and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of AI ethics, model interpretability, and governance in regulated industries.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- AI/ML certifications (e.g., TensorFlow Developer, AWS/GCP AI Engineer).
Job Expectations:
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Position will require ability to work on-site at posted location
